At the 2019 Future of Sourcing Awards, Boeing claimed the Innovations in Talent Management award for the Company’s Sourcing Roadmap. The goal for this project was to optimize how stakeholders work together throughout the sourcing lifecycle to set strategy, acquire IT products and services, govern supplier relationships, and manage risks. The Roadmap contains sourcing industry best practices, company-specific governance and defines organizational RAAs. The Sourcing Knowledge Repository is where the rubber meets the road(map) and goes from notional to reality...with hundreds of artifacts including best practices, templates and training tutorials.
